Superscale's next new sheet is also on the P-47, but this time, it is two unpainted metal bubbletops from the 368th Fighter group. Both planes have the unit's yellow tipped fin with a black stripe just below it. There is also a black ID stripe on the horizontal stab.

First option is 'The Old Man' as flown by Tomas Carbine, the CO of the 397th FS. This aircraft has a blue canopy frame, blue prop spinner, blue forward cowling, and blue wing tips. The modeler needs to match this blue with the color on the decal flash that is provided.

The other is William Garry's 'Rought and Ready'. This 395 FS aircraft has its motif in red. Again, the red spinner tip and forward cowling need to be matched to the decal provided.

Recommended kit is the Tamiya version, but these markings may also fit the several other P-47 kits out there without too much trouble. .

Cartograf is now Superscale's default printer and the sheet is superbly done. There are insignia and data markings for one aircraft.
