For the second sheet on the F-105D, Superscale has decided to give us three Vietnam war aircraft from the 355th and 388th TFW. As with the previous sheet, this one is fitted for the Hobby Boss kit, but there is no reason why one couldn't use the Monogram one as well. Looks to me like there are enough data markings and insignia to do all three aircraft, a nice touch.

These Thunderchiefs are all painted in the SEA camouflage scheme  of FS 34102, 34079, 30219 and 36622 for the underside. Though there was an A and B camo scheme, most were painted as you see here.

First aircraft (going by the sheet itself) is 'Grim Reaper' of the 354th TFS from 1968. This RM tail code plane was flown by Lt. Chuck de Vlaming from Takhli, Thailand.

Next is 'The Ohio Express' with the JV tail code. This aircraft from the 469 TFS/388 TFW was flown by Peter Foley and also called 'Foley's Folly'.

The final option with the JJ tail code is '8 ball' from the 34th TFS/388th TFW. Pilot is unknown, but like the other two, it is from 1968, though based in Korat, Thailand along with the rest of the 388th.

The decals are superbly done by Cartograf  and the full color instructions include a data placement guide as well as references. June 2009
