With the release of the Classic Airframes 1/48 Do-17Z, Superscale figured it was time to dig out some more older sheets and reissue them. This one was formerly 48-544 and was designed for the then-new Hobbycraft kit. Fortunately, there are no major differences in the shape and size of the two kits that would make the old artwork unusable, so here you go. Markings for three aircraft.

All Do-17Zs were painted in the standard RLM 70/71/65 camouflage scheme and altered as the need might arise. The sheet provides enough insignia and some data markings for one of the three options.

First is  an aircraft from Stab III./KG 3 in East Prussia during 1939 so this one took part in the Polish Invasion.

Next, from 1./KG 2 in Greece during 1941 is this Do-17Z-2. The rudders and engine cowlings are painted yellow as ID marks.

Finally, a 10./KG3 aircraft from Russia in the winter of 1941. All the upper colors are covered with white, yet it still has yellow under the wing tips and around the rear fuselage.

So thee you have it. If you have the C.A. Do-17Z and are looking for alternate markings, you now have them.

As a late note, I've been told that this and the other sheet are not direct copies of the older one and that this one has been sized for the CA kit.

My thanks to Superscale for the review sample
