The second new Bearcat sheet has two aircraft, both in overall gloss sea blue. Once again, this sheet is fitted for the Academy/Hobbycraft kit, though you could probably use the Testors/Hawk version if you really wanted to. This kit was also boxed by Italeri for our European friends.  Because there are only two aircraft on the sheet, there are insignia and wing walk areas for both options included.

The first aircraft is the CAG 19 Commander's plane from the USS Boxer in 1949. This is a quite famous plane with a large red and white stripe running down the fuselage side.

The other is from VF-3, aboard the USS Randolph in 1947. This was right when the red stripe was added to the national insignia. At that time, VF-3 was the 'Felix' squadron, this more recently being held by the F-14Ds of VF-31.
