More P-51Ds, and this time both of them are from the 3 ACG based in the Philippines during 1945. These are both unpainted metal with Olive Drab anti glare panels and both have the wide theater ID bands on the wings and the fuselage. These black stripes are 24 inches wide with white in between them. Both are trimmed in blue and one will need to match the smaller blue decals for the spinner and fin tip.

First is 'Jumpin' Jacques' of Jacques Young. This 3 FS aircraft has a blue spinner and forward nose section. You can use the decal provided or paint the blue on the nose. I'd recommend masking and painting it . The blue stripes are to outline the anti-glare panel and canopy.

The other is  Walker Mahurin's plane, also with the 3rd FS. His aircraft has just the forward part of the spinner painted blue as well as the fin tip. An alternate scheme is provided in case you want to do an earlier one without the white or the blue fin tip.

There are enough insignia and data markings to do one aircraft. You are also provided with additional white backings to the insignia  and unit badge on Mahurin's plane so the black doesn't bleed through. Recommended kit is the Tamiya one, though there are others on which this will fit.
