Moving on we have a sheet for P-51D Mustangs. Both of these are late war aircraft in unpainted metal with olive drab anti-glare panels. The recommended kit is by Tamiya, though I'm sure these decals will fit other kits if you wish.

First up is "Bad Angel" the aircraft of Louis Curdes. This one has a yellow forward spinner, blue tipped rudder and black ID bands on the wings and fuselage. These will all have to be painted on. Superscale provides a small swatch with the blue on it so you can match the paint. You are also provided with additional white backings to the insignia so the black doesn't bleed through. This is a rather unique aircraft as the pilot is credited with 7 German, 1 Italian, 1 Japanese and 1 American kill. The latter is when he shot at a C-47 full of nurses trying to land at what was a Japanese held airstrip. The aircraft made a forced landing in the boonies with all being rescued. Curdes ended up marrying one of the nurses.

The other is "Marie" from the 2nd FS/52nd FG in 1945. This one has a red nose and full yellow empennage. Yellow wing bands are provided on the decal sheet.

There are enough insignia and data markings to do one aircraft.
