It is nice to have these sheets that are not the standard fare. This continues with several earlier releases that feature formation monitor aircraft using war weary P-47s. In this case, both are razorback D models in olive drab over neutral grey. Both aircraft have had the wing pylons removed. The decals are fitted for the Tamiya kit, though could fit others.

First aircraft is a P-47D-22 of the 467th Bomb Group. This one has a yellow cowling and still has the guns installed.

The other is a P-47D-2 from the 389th Bomb Group. On this plane the forward cowling is white and the aircraft still has the white ID stripes on the tail planes. No guns are carried and the lower cowl flap needs to be modified to remove the cut-out.

Common markings are provided for one aircraft and you can use the kit supplied ones if you decide to do them both.
