We have two aircraft on this sheet, both P-47Ds, but slightly different types. The instruction sheet recommends the Tamiya kit, but with a bit of fudging, I'd bet these markings would fit most any 1/48 P-47D.

First is 'Fearless Dick/Wild Bette' of the 395th FS. This bare metal razorback has a red forward cowling with full invasion stripes and a yellow upper fin. Note that this P-47D-22 requires a 13' Hamilton Standard prop.

The other aircraft is 'Arkansas Blitz' from the 396th FS. It also has a yellow upper fin and a yellow nose flash with red pin striping. The modeler will have to match the decal to paint the rest of the cowling. It sports a 13' Curtiss Electric asymmetrical prop.
