Superscale 48-1066: P-51D Mustangs

Units: 357 FG

Scott Van Aken

The third sheet on the subject contains two aircraft, both in RAF colors of Dark Green over Medium Sea Grey. The Tamiya kit is the one recommended. I don't recall seeing these on a sheet before so these may be all new.

First up is the 362nd FS aircraft 'Missouri Armada' as flown by John England in late 1944. As is typical of repainted planes, there is no rudder color.

The other is the 364th FS plane 'Frenesi', flown by the CO, Tom Haynes. This one carries invasion stripes on the lower fuselage.

Once again, there are enough insignia and data markings to do one aircraft.
