With the seeming resurgence of popularity of the -4 Corsair, it is nice that Superscale has been providing sheets for it. For kits you have three choices. One is the nice, but somewhat old Hasegawa/Mania kit. While accurate, it is of the raised line era. For engraved lines and somewhat less accuracy, there is the Academy kit. The other option is a conversion set for the Tamiya kit, which I believe is by CMK.

Both of these planes are from VF-783, a reserve unit called into action during the Korean War. These planes both have small areas of white on the prop hub, fin tip and rear fuselage. They also have pretty impressive mission tallies on the fuselage. Thanks to being overall sea blue, they will be a breeze to paint!

Markings are provided to enable you to do one of the two aircraft on the sheet.
