Superscale 48-1056: P-47D Thunderbolt

Units: 388 FS/356 FG

Here is an interesting sheet for you P-47D fans. It is basically two different aircraft with what looks like the same engine cowling! One of these is a P-47D-28 and the other a -30. Both have the dorsal fin extension that was standard on -30s but often retrofitted. Both aircraft are in unpainted metal with black/blue stripes on the cowling and a blue fin extension. The second aircraft has invasion stripes on the lower wings and fuselage. The recommended kit for these markings is the Tamiya P-47D. Though you could use other kits, you may have to do some fudging on the markings.

Basically there are enough markings to do one of the two subjects.
