Superscale 32-218: F-14A Tomcat

Units: VF-211

Scott Van Aken

This is an up-scaled edition of a recent 1/48 sheet and is the final scheme worn by VF-211 before it was disestablished (I have to point out to the non-nautical that squadrons are disestablished; ships are decommissioned as are units of the 'lesser' military services!).

Anyway, this aircraft is in the Tactical Paint Scheme which eventually becomes a grey mottle, especially after a few months at sea. The markings are designed for the Tamiya F-14 kit, but for the really cheap, there is also a Revell kit and I'd bet these would work on that one as well.

The sheet has room for some of the more common data markings. A good option for your next big tomkitty.
