For those of you who are hanging on to your Hasegawa 1/32 F6F Hellcat while awaiting a decent set of markings, you have three very nice ones on this sheet. All are in the very easy to paint overall gloss sea blue. Because of the size of the markings there are data and insignia for only one aircraft, but that is plenty for most of us.

Of course there is David McCampbell's 'Minsi III' when he was CAG of Air Group 15.

Next is from VF-7 aboard the USS Hancock with its horseshoe shaped tail markings. This plane has a white spinner and an intermediate blue replacement rudder.

Finally, from VF-9 aboard the USS Lexington comes White 19 with a broad white fin marking.

You'll note that these are all early F6F-5s according to the drawings as they have the small rear window behind the cockpit canopy and no 'bulge' on the cowling for the exhaust.
