Superscale 320250: P-47N Thunderbolt

Units: 318 FG

Scott Van Aken

This new sheet is for the Trumpeter 1/32 P-47N Thunderbolt as operated in the last days of the war in the Pacific. Both aircraft are unpainted metal and both from the 73rd FS/318 FG, though at different times.

The first is 'Wild Hair' in the older scheme with the tips of the horizontal stabilizers and the fin tip in black. This will need to be painted by the builder.

The second option takes most of the sheet with the later group markings of black stripes on yellow. The empennage will need painted by the builder, but the sheet includes all of the stripes as well as the nose artwork for 'Mad Russian'.

For either option, kit insignia will be needed. There are data markings enough for one plane. The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf.
