NOTES:

Printed by Cartograf

The second Devastator sheet is for those operating in the Atlantic on Neutrality Patrol in 1940/41. These were in the full color markings with the additional US Insignia on the forward section of the aircraft, under the windscreen.

The two units on this sheet are VS-42 from the USS Ranger in March of 1941 with its Willow Green tail section and the lower cowling in Yellow. Yellow wing stripes are also provided with black edging.

The other is from the USS Wasp and its VS-71. This one has a gloss black tail section with a full yellow forward cowling and fuselage band. The yellow wing stripes on this one do not have the back band.

There are sufficient markings to do one complete aircraft and if you scrounge insignia and paint the wing walk areas, you can do both. The sheet includes arrestor hook stripes and prop tip markings. It is superbly printed by Cartograf. Kits for this sheet are Airfix and Valom, though the sheet is designed for the Airfix version.

Starfighter decals is committed to providing fresh markings options for some of the older and more interesting kits and I'm sure you are equally as pleased about this as am I.
