For the Revell kit

Trust Starfighter Decals to come out with a neat decal sheet and one that has really be wanted for a very long time by some fans of the type. The Revell 1/72 Kaydet has been around for longer than some of the people building the kit, yet there has not been a modern replacement for this venerable kit. In reality, it is still a very nice kit, though somewhat basic by today's standards.

Now we have a very nicely done decal sheet for this plane. What makes this sheet so useful, is that it is not really for any specific plane, but provides the markings and insignia to allow the builder to construct just about any of the planes operated by the Navy and USAAC/F during WWII.

If you have a photo, you can probably duplicate that aircraft. On the Navy side of things there are the colored wing and fuselage bands that were worn by the different units operating out of Pensacola. Individual serial and code numbers are provided in various colors and include the differences in fonts you sometimes saw.

The sheet instructions do provide several examples if you really need them as well as placement information.

A welcome and well rounded set that will be a boon to fans of the type.
