This is Starfighter Decals' first sheet in 1/144. This is for the Revell AG E-2C Hawkeye. The sheet provides markings for two planes, both from VAW-112 during separate periods of time. The one on the right is the CAG bird from 1977-78 time frame and the one on the left is a standard line bird from 1979-1980. Both are with the USS Nimitz. The areas that look sort of gold/green are actually brilliant gold in color. That shade just doesn't scan well.

As these are ALPS decals, one must cut out each individual marking prior to application. I'd be very cautious about using setting solutions on these as even the most benign can cause problems with the gold color, even with standard waterslide decals. All the common markings will need to come from the kit sheet. There are enough unique markings to do both aircraft.

A really super effort and one I'm glad to see. Hopefully Starfighter Decals will decide to do some more E-2C markings.
