As I have mentioned in previous Repliscale reviews, Repliscale produced very nice subjects, but their marketing strategy of producing minimal sized sheets probably did them in, especially as they charged full sheet prices.

Here is yet another set of markings for the F-4 Phantom II. I would be willing to bet that the F-4 is one of the most prolific subjects for decal makers as it has undoubtedly spawned many hundreds of different decal sheets for the Phantom.

This particular sheet is for the F-4S version from VF-161 during one of its final years of service aboard the USS Midway. It is in overall gull grey 36440 with a 35237 antiglare panel and tail(!). Rather unusual in two respects. One that the gull grey is not glossy and another in that the tail is a different grey from the rest of the aircraft. Unfortunately there is no reference given for those of us who like to research unusual schemes like this so if any of you have photos of this bird, please share them.

The sheet itself is typically diminutive and is only for one subject, NF/105. It is a mere 4 x 3.5 inches and is shown here full size (if your screen is set to 1024x768). The only color is provided by the red tail flash, but it should make for a very interesting subject.

Suggested kit is the Fujimi 1/72 F-4S, but I am sure it would also fit the Hasegawa kit in this scale
