This set covers one B-17G in overall bare metal. "Ruby's Raiders" was  names in honor of  Cpl Ruby Newell, voted 'The most beautiful WAC in the ETO'. This was a Stars and Stripes contest. This was a brand new aircraft and as such would be in pristine condition with no mission markings and no appreciable wear. Since it was a new plane in early 1945, it would have had the staggered waist gun windows and the Cheyenne turret. This means you need the ProModeler kit with this mod added. I'm not sure if the more recent issue of the B-17G has these mods added in with the kit or not. I should note that the chin gun and turret are in Neutral Grey as they were pre-painted by sub-contractors.

Undoubtedly one of the larger bomber nose art that you'll see as it takes up a goodly portion of the nose. For insignia, you'll need Cutting Edge sheet 48-262 or 48-263. You'll also need to paint the red wing and tailplane stripes.
