Notes:

Thanks to the recent release of an early F-86A Sabre in 1/72 by Clear Prop, Print Scale took advantage of the new kit by releasing a new sheet of colorful early Sabres. The sheet provides markings for two aircraft along with sufficient stencils, insignia, and common markings for one aircraft. Of course, if one wants to do both options, one can use the markings from the kit.

The first of the two options is the simplest and is for a plane from the 196th FBS with the California ANG in 1955. This aircraft was flown during an air race at Ontario during that year.

Next is the boss bird of the 33rd Fighter Interceptor Wing. This unit was based at Otis AFB in late 1950.

Though no kit is specified, I doubt if anyone will use the old Matchbox kit, but you could. The decals are nicely printed and the back of the decal placement guide provides the placement instructions for all the various stencils.
