For
their third sheet, LPS Hobby in Brazil is keeping with the Bf-110 and
moving on to the Bf-110E series. Like the previous sheets, this one is designed for the Eduard
kit, but as with the last two sheets, there are no markings that may be incompatible with
differences in how the various model companies do their molds. Once again, I see no reason
why these would not be just fine on a Fujimi or a Cyberhobby kit (assuming the
variant is correct).
The
initial option is for an aircraft of 3./ZG 26 in 1941. this one has had the
older upper surface camo repainted in RLM 74/75, though it has kept RLM 65 for
the underside. There is no mottling on the fuselage but the upper surface colors
are a bit over half way down the fuselage sides. The upper engine cowlings on
this one are yellow.
Next up is a desert camouflaged aircraft of 8./ZG 26 in 1942. Colors are RLM 78/79 with a white fuselage band.
The last option is a night fighter with 5./NJG 1 in late 1941, early 1942. It has a yellow fuselage band and the overall scheme on this one is matte black.
The decals themselves are very nicely printed. I did not notice any registration errors and the set includes a full data suite. The decals are a tad thicker than some of the ones we have become accustomed to, but that should not cause any concern. Instructions are in full color and in addition to giving precise placement information, includes a data sheet for placement of those data markings. There are enough insignia for one option, though you can get aftermarket insignia if you wish to do them all.
