Life-Like
has re-issued one of their P-47 Thunderbolt sheets. This one covers three
different aircraft.
The first is Charles Matheson's aircraft from the 394th FS/367th FG. This one has a bright yellow engine cowling. The area where the nose art is painted is a slightly different shade of gloss yellow that will probably be difficult for many modelers to duplicate.
Second is Marvin Grant's 342 FS/348 FG razorback. This plane has a replacement cowling, probably from his previous aircraft. Note that this plane was photographed with both the blue stripe you see in the image and with a white stripe. Both are included in the set.
Finally, Charles Anderson's P-47D from the 335th FS/4th FG.
The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf. They are sized for the Tamiya kits.
