If you want special schemes on Canadian Aircraft, then you want to look for Leading Edge decal sheets. They are among the finest in the world and this one covers the 80th Anniversary of the RCAF/CAF. Though not indicated, I was informed that this is a 425 Squadron aircraft. This one isn't quite as flashy as some of the other schemes have been, but it is fetching nonetheless with the old red and white 'lightning bolt' incorporated into the tail design. The colors on the fin are matched by Light Blue and Bright Blue from the small Testors bottles of enamel paint. The rest of the airframe is standard FS 36375 and 35237.

As with every Leading Edge decal sheet, you get superb decal placement instructions that are bettered by no one. The very nice thing about this scheme is that it isn't one that will be that difficult to apply. I can tell you that the complexity of some of the previous schemes have left me very apprehensive about attempting. No such qualms with this one as it is straight-forward and fetching at the same time. I'd suggest getting this sheet and using it on your next CF-18A. It is available in all three scales so there is no excuse! :o)
