The latest
sheet from the folks at Leading Edge is this superb set. It has the
commemorative F-18 from the RAAF that celebrates 20 years of F-18
operations in Australia. It is an incredible scheme that requires an
incredible sheet to duplicate it. That is what one gets from Leading Edge.
In this case there are four sheets (three of them full size) and a set of resin that comes with it.
The resin bits are the wing tip missile shapes for ASRAAMS as well
as the larger VHF
radio antennas that are used by RAAF Hornets. This set also includes the
IFF antennas for the nose section. Leading Edge has gone to
extra lengths to protect the fins on the missile shapes by surrounding them
with a resin cover. It certainly helped to protect mine during their trip.
(see image at the bottom of the page.)
Because of the complexity of this design, Leading Edge has provided additional instructions on their application as well as paper templates to assist with the masking. An extra information sheet with color photos of the overall aircraft as well as some detail shots of the more tricky areas (like the intakes) are provided, making this a most complete set and perfect for your special Hornet model.
