It seems that every year, 410 Squadron is tasked with providing that year's display scheme and this one celebrates 60 years of NORAD. The set is pretty intensive and is designed for either the Hasegawa or the Kinetic kit. There are optional bits depending on the kit you are using.
Like the 1/48 set, this one includes a full sheet of masks (not shown unless you want to see a yellow rectangle). These sets are a real boon for doing complex schemes like this. However, if you don't want them, then you can get a less expensive set that doesn't include them. The set can be used on pretty much any extant F-18A kit including Kinetic, Hasegawa, and Academy. There are separate bits on the masks for the Academy kit and notes on the other kits in terms of decal trimming.
Instructions for this set are excellent as is the norm for Leading Edge. The set has, in addition to the placement and painting instructions, a large sheet with a lot of detail photos to help you constructing your Hornet.
It is another great set from Leading Edge and is bound to sell out quickly.
