This is a most interesting looking farewell scheme that I do not recall seeing before. It is for the last German Air Force flight of an Mi-8 from Cottbus in March of 1993. In case you do not realize what this is, it is a turtle.

Kopro makes a number of alternative markings sheets for its kits and the Kopro Mi-8 is one of the nicer helo kits on the market. This might also fit the Hobby Boss kit as it seems like it should. This sheet is superbly printed and provides all the various bits as well as some data markings. The tanks seem to be in red and white and those will need to be painted by the builder. The builder will also need to paint the turtle head in black along with the top of the tail boom.

Instructions contain painting and placement information as well as color references for a number of paint brands.  The decals are superbly printed and without registration glitches. It will definitely make for an interesting presentation!
