This latest sheet from Isradecal is designed for the new Tamiya or Academy 1/32 F-16C. If you have ever had an Isradecal sheet, then you know that you can expect the highest quality both in terms of the decals themselves (which are printed by Microscale) and in the research that is provided.

As is the standard for Isradecal, you are given a booklet that provides superb drawings for each scheme as well as photographs of some of the actual aircraft. The instructions provide two schemes for each of the four squadrons operating the type. From the 'First Jet Squadron' are markings from 1991 and 1998 for these Block 30 aircraft. The 'Knights of the North Squadron' also fly the Block 30 and schemes from 1990 and 2005 are given. A mask is provided for the tail markings as a decal in this scale would be quite large.

Block 40 airframes are flown by the next two units. 'Scorpion Squadron' has 1998 and 2004 markings, while 'First Fighter Squadron' has schemes from 1993 and 2005. This latter set of markings includes their new scheme as designed by Ra'anan Weiss, the owner of Isradecal.

The decals themselves are on two sheets; One with unit markings and some numbers, the other contains more numbers and a set of stencils. A smaller ALPS printed sheet is for 50th Anniversary markings. The sheet is so designed that if you have a reference photo, you can model any F-16C carried in the IAF inventory.

Overall, an outstanding decal set and one you should seriously consider for your next big scale F-16 project.
