You'd think that a company that specializes in Israeli Air Force subjects would run out of ideas for decal sheets. Well, that is not the case here. IsraDecal has moved into the realm of stencil decals. This particular sheet is for the RF-4 Phantom II. It is for camouflaged aircraft and provides a full stencil suite in English for the Hasegawa kit. You can probably use these on others, but it is fitted for the Hasegawa version. What makes this set unique among aftermarket stencil suites is that the stencils are in blocks rather than individual. This means that the time spent applying what has to be hundreds of markings is significantly decreased.

As you can see from the image to the lower left, Isradecals provides a most comprehensive placement guide for these decals so that you can be sure to get them all in the proper location. Because of the large area involved, it is imperative that these go on a gloss surface and that setting solutions be used to prevent silvering.

The printing on the sheet is excellent as these are done by Cartograf in Italy. My experiences with Cartograf decals has been good, though I have noted on some that it takes a setting solution with a bit of 'oomph' to get them to snuggle down.
