This new sheet from Iliad Designs is their second for the DHC-6 Twin Otter. This is one of those aircraft that has seen a lot of service with various nations. We are fortunate that there is a good, but fairly basic kit of the plane done in 1/72 scale by Matchbox, which was bought by Revell and is now released in their boxes.

There are six options on this sheet. The first is a short nose aircraft in United Nations markings. This was lost during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.

Next is a USAF Academy jump plane in a retro WWII scheme, complete with invasion stripes. This one is modified with a 'roll-up' cargo door.

Next a nice one with the Ethiopian Army

In all greys is this Panamanian aircraft that is attached to their navy.

In mostly white is this Chilean SAR bird with yellow bands on the nose and wings. While the yellow needs painted, the black outline stripes are provided.

Finally a Peruvian DHC-6 on floats. This is overall red with a white upper fuselage and unpainted metal floats and struts. Note that this aircraft has a third float strut that the modeler will need to add.

The decals themselves are superbly printed and in full register. The instruction sheet has complete upper and lower painting information as well as several additional sheets with photos and diagrams to enable you to accurately model these aircraft.
