This is a reprint of an earlier sheet which sold very well. There have been so many requests for it that Iliad Designs decided to reissue it. In addition, they added another option that was not available on the initial offering. So we have a total of six options on this sheet.

This sheet offers five different camouflage schemes, which is really neat, allowing modelers to pick the one they like the best. It looks like there are enough insignia to do all of the options. Still the best in this scale is the Tamiya kit. I'm not sure why Eduard never did this in 1/48 as they went through the effort of producing 1/72 kits. Generally speaking the majority of the options are in overall unpainted metal.

The first option is a Chinese plane, and while the nose marking reads 'People's Voluntary Air Force', it is unknown if these planes actually flew in this marking.

Second is an oft depicted 'tiger' scheme in two shades of green and a tan over light blue. No surprise is that this was flown by a Soviet pilot in 1953.

Another Soviet-flown plane is 758 yellow in early 1952. Note that there is no white background to the insignia.

The fourth and fifth option are the same plane at different times. This is the aircraft of the North Korean defector who provided the USAF a complete airframe to evaluate. This plane is at the USAF Museum.

The final option is another Soviet flown aircraft in a green/brown over light blue camouflage.

The decals are superbly printed and react well to weaker setting solutions.
