This sheet covers a couple of 'black-tailed' cats from VF-24 and VF-33. The recommended kit is the Monogram F-14A, because that was all that was around at the time! This is NOT a new sheet. All of the black areas will have to be painted prior to applying the decals. Both aircraft are in the overall light gull grey (FS 16440) scheme, which makes it really easy to paint!

The VF-33 bird is from 1982 and was based on the USS America at the time. I do believe that this squadron was disestablished during the 1990s.

Also gone is VF-24, which had this red trimmed CAG bird aboard the USS Constellation during 1982.

The decal sheet is pretty basic, but provides all the major markings that you will need. Only the grey national insignia for the VF-33 plane is provided. The full color ones for the VF-25 plane will have to come from the kit as will the various warning, NAVY, and other common markings.
