This is Fox One's final decal sheet. After several years of producing quality sheets, there will be no more new ones. The website will remain active so that this and other sheets can be sold so if you have ever wanted any Fox One sheets, now would be a great time to get them.
This particular sheet covers three USMC F-8E Crusaders. The recommended kit is not given, but you have a choice of either the Hasegawa or Monogram kit and most will undoubtedly choose the Hasegawa version. All are in the Light Gull Grey and White scheme from the 1960s.
First up is from VMF-323 during June 1963. This aircraft had the fuel tanks explode during a trans-pac air refueling with the pilot barely escaping with his life.
Next is from VMF-212 aboard the USS Oriskany during November 1965. This pilot spent seven years in the Hanoi Hilton after being shot down during a mission.
Finally, a VMF-232 aircraft as flown from DaNang is 1967. As with all the schemes on the sheet, weapons load information is provided. There are enough insignia and common markings provided to do two aircraft from the sheet.
