This is new sheet from Exito Decals covers a variety of ground attack aircraft. It is nice to see some of these types covered as often they are ignored by both decal makers and the modeling public. We are fortunate that there are some very good kits out there of all three subjects.

The initial offering is a Ju-87D. This particular plane was with 5./StG 2 based in the Soviet Union during early summer of 1942. The aircraft is the standard RLM 70/71/65 with yellow theater markings on the rear fuselage and under the wing tips. It also has a red tip to the spinner with a white spiral.

Next is an Hs-129B-2, also in the Soviet Union, but this time in the summer of 1943. This aircraft is also in RLM 70/71/65, but has more extensive theater markings that have not only the fuselage band and wing tips, but also the nose and lower engine cowlings. This 4.(PZ)/Sch.G. 1 plane has a nice score on the fin and rudder.

Finally, an FW-190F-8 from II./SG 3 in August1944. This plane is in RLM 74/75.76 with some fairly heavy mottling and a fairly lower camouflage demarcation line. This one has had a fuselage band under the fuselage insignia overpainted with RLM 76.

Decals are superbly printed by Cartograf and this sheet is also available in 1/72 scale. What makes this set truly unique is that each of the markings options' placement diagrams are really full size color prints suitable for framing. The front gives left and right while on the back are upper and underside images as well as notes and sometimes a photo or two of the aircraft in question. Paint references are with AK and Mr Hobby Color, but most brands make the shades used.
