This next set from Exito Decals covers three aircraft flown in operations on the Russian Front during 1941-43. There are good kits of all these subjects available in this scale.

First up is a Yak-1b from the 562nd IAP based in the Moscow area during 1943 in the later war greys scheme.

Next is a wasp nosed Bf-110E-2/trop flown by 6./SKG 210 based in the Orel region during late 1941, hence the winter camouflage scheme.

Finally, a Bf-109F-4 with JG 3 based in the southern sector during 1942. Typical of 109s in this sector, this one has a very non-standard camouflage scheme

Decals are superbly printed by Cartograf. What makes this set truly unique is that each of the markings options' placement diagrams are really full size color posters suitable for framing. The front gives left and right while on the back are upper and underside images as well as notes and sometimes a photo or two of the aircraft in question. Paint references are with AK and Mr Hobby Color, but most brands make the shades used.

This is a great sheet of a really intriguing subject.
