Sheet #2 for the F-101B contains two more Air Defense fighters. This time they are later airframes with the IR sensor and other items provided on the kit, though some mods are still needed. Both are overall ADC Grey (FS 16473). Only kit around is the 1970s era Monogram kit, which still makes into a very impressive model.

The first aircraft is from the 444 FIS. This is the first time these markings have been available in 1/48 as previously only on a 1/72 Microscale sheet could you find them. This plane has green main landing gear doors. No slime lights or beacon antennas on this one.

The other is from the 136 FIS, New York ANG. It is fully up to the specs of the kit so no mods are needed.

Once again, enough common markings and wing walk areas for one of the two aircraft. Stencils are rather minimal on these later version aircaft.
