If you have been wondering where to get a decent set of decals for your Hasegawa 1/32 Sabre, then this one should fill the bill.  Included in the sheet is a step by step instruction on how to modify the F-40 that comes in the box to a shorter span F-30 or earlier. Though the conversion is for the 1/48 kit, it will apply equally to the 1/32 version, only the bits left over will be larger! The sheet includes a smaller sheet that includes insignia and more black outlines for the yellow fuselage/wing bands.

First is 'Mig Poison' flown by  James Hagerstrom. This F-86F-30 was with the 67 FBS/18 FBG in spring of 1953. It has the slatted wing and should also have bomb racks inboard of the drop tanks.

The other is the ever-popular 'The Paper Tiger' flown by Harold Fischer. This 39 FIS/51 FIG F-86F-10 had a slatted wing.

Just as a bit of interest, the sheet was released in April of 2003, but has a date of October 2002 on it. This latest batch of Eagle Strike decals was made in Mexico and it just goes to show you how long it can take from when the decals were actually ready for printing until they make it onto your hobby store shelves.
