Since the issue of the Eduard Bf-110C/D kit in 1/48, several new sheets have appeared. This is one of three new ones from Eagle Cals and features three different aircraft. In line with other Eagle Cal sheets, this one provides a brief synopsis of the markings and other detail information that some other companies miss. There are sufficient insignia to do all three options and enough data markings to do one. A complete data markings placement diagram is included in the full color instruction sheet.

First of these markings is the Bf-110C-7 of 5./ZG1 in RLM 75/75/76. This one has the very nice 'Wespen' marking on the nose along with a yellow fuselage band and lower wing tips. Fuselage mottling is very light.

The second is from Stab./ZG 26. This aircraft of unknown subtype is also in RLM 74/75/76 and was flown by Joachim-Friedrich Huth, the Gescwaderkommodore. A heavily mottled side fuselage on this one though the full nose is in RLM 76

The final option is a Bf-110D with the extended rear fuselage. This one is from 6./ZG 26 from the spring of 1941 and is in the older scheme of RLM 71/02/65. It has the additional interior mounted armored windscreen and extended rudder tabs. This one also has a yellow fuselage band  that was painted over the unit code letter, and full yellow nose section.

The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf and are without registration problems. If you have the older Fujimi kit of this plane, these markings should work well on that one as well.

All in all a fine sheet and one that will surely sell out rather quickly. Also available in 1/72 and 1/32 from www.eagle-editions.com
