Notes:

For appropriate 1/72 F-18E kit

DXM Decals is nice enough to provide its new releases in all of the popular scales. Earlier, you saw the 1/48 sheet and the 1/32 version. Now we have the set for 1/72 fans. This one is for the 2011 scheme for the CAG bird from VFA-195. They have done a series of 'Chippy Ho' schemes since they first started flying the F-18 and all of them are among some of the more colorful aircraft around.

This set includes all the markings you will need to duplicate this aircraft in 1/72 scale. I am not up to speed as to who all does an F-18E in this scale but I know that Hasegawa and Revell (which could perhaps be an Italeri mold?) have kits available in this scale.  Full color info is provided with several paint lines. This is not a small set as there are four sheets. The one with the green stripes is actually a bit longer than the first two, but was resized to fit more easily into a given space. Some of these markings will need to be installed in a specific order and that information is provided within the instructions. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Cartograf so will work with all available setting solutions.

Review sheet courtesy of http://www.thepmw.com. Please note that they are working on an English version of their website which should be up sometime soon. This sheet may also be known by the number on the cover: 21-7106. I use the one on the decal sheet itself. These decals are also available at http://www.dxmdecal.com/
