This is the next sheet is part of a running batch on the Hornets that have participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The suggested kit for this and the others to follow is the Hasegawa F-18C, though many of these markings will probably fit the older Monogram kit as well. Continuing with the focus on fancy markings, these will all be CAG  or squadron commander's planes. Many modelers would like to see just normal aircraft, but the fact is that the plain markings just don't sell decals. The first is the CAG bird from VFA-15 which wasn't assigned a carrier and didn't take part in the invasion. The other is the squadron commander's plane from VFA-105 aboard the USS Harry Truman. It does have mission markings on the nose.
