NOTES:

For those of you who are delving into 1/32 for your F-86, then this is a sheet you really need. It contains a full stencil suite plus the two most common sizes of Korean War yellow wing/fuselage bands used. Apparently, there were two sizes of fuselage bands utilized. The 28 inch one was used on those planes painted in Japan or Korea. Starting with FY 52 aircraft, these bands were painted at the factories and were 36 inches wide. That basically means F-86F-25 and later planes destined for Korea.

The sheets are very complete, right down to the wing walk areas and other warning stencils. The set include a very detailed decal placement guide. Unfortunately, there was some sort of major glitch in the printing and the packer (Kim according to the little slip in the package), missed that they are nearly unusable. On the right is a sample of the printing and placement information. It looks very much like what happens when one starts with a very small image and blows it up to fit a larger frame. Lots of pixellation and barely legible letters and numbers. I can only hope that Cutting Edge will supply a replacement as otherwise, one just has to guess as to where many of these should go.

Despite that, this is an excellent set that is perfect for the next time you dig out that Hasegawa 1/32 Sabre!
