With the arrival of the X-1E conversion set for the Revell X-1, it was decided that it would be a good idea to have a decal sheet for it. Now I'm not sure why this isn't included with the conversion set, but marketing being what it is, perhaps it was felt that this was the best way to do things. The sheet provides full markings to do any one of the three variants of the X-1E. A full stencil placement guide is provided. The resulting model should be a beauty. The real X-1E survives and is on a plinth in front of the main building entrance at NASA Dryden on Edwards AFB in California.
