Caracal Models CD 72090: P-3 Orion part 1

This is Caracal Models' first sheet on the P-3 Orion and it is most welcome as markings for the Hasegawa kit (for which this set was designed) have always been difficult to find. Most of us have at least one of these kits and in some cases, their decals are no longer viable. This is a three sheet set as a full set of wing walk and cheat line decals is included along with sufficient other common markings to do one aircraft.

There are seven markings options, most of them in white over light gull grey. The more modern options are overall light gull grey. Here is what's included in this set:

Decals are superbly printed by Cartograf. Caracal provides the option when you order on line, for adding a second sheet of stencils for a few dollars more in case you wish to build more than one option. On a personal note I'm pleased to see this sheet produced as I've been around several of these aircraft during my USN career.
