It is great to see this sheet, the first one I've seen to cover the new Revell 1/72 C-54D. There are four options on this sheet so let's get right to it.

The first up is the Blue Angel transport used during the early 1960s when they were flying F11Fs. There are two aircraft covered and both are R5D-3s. There are differences between these planes and the kit including the shape of the nose on the first option and the window configuration. Most of the yellow markings will need to be painted and this includes the scallops for the engines. A 'starter' set for the nose and area around the cockpit is provided as a decal. Caracal provides paper templates on their website that can be downloaded and information on getting these is in the instructions. The dark blue cheat line striping is on the sheet. The two planes are from the 1963 and 1965 season and differ in serial number.

Next is a C-54B from the 320th Troop Carrier Squadron (TCS) on Tinian during 1945. The color of the fin marking is in question so two options are provided.

The last option is a C-54G that made the last Operation Vittles flight during the Berlin Airlift. While the aircraft is rather unremarkable in its paint scheme, it does carry commemorative markings on the forward fuselage and a large aircraft number on its rudder.

The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf and Caracal Models provides full color painting and markings instructions. Any of these schemes will look nice on your big Skymaster.
