This particular Caracal Models sheet is for the very earliest F-15 Eagles and that includes the prototypes as well as the initial production aircraft that were assigned to the 58th TFTW at Luke AFB.  All of these latter planes were assigned to the 555 TFTS. The prototypes will require a goodly amount of masking for all the various daglo , orange and blue markings. The Streak Eagle will take even more as it was a rather complex pattern of metallics due to it being completely unpainted.

All of the early production planes and the first prototype are in Air Superiority Blue, which was gloss on the underside and matte on the upper side (or the other way around, I don't remember). In addition, the initial prototype had different wing tips, stabilizers and a smaller speed brake. Note also that at this time the transparency seals were red.  It is recommended to use the Monogram kit for some reason.

There are 8 options on this sheet:

F-15A 71-0280 first F-15 flight

F-15A 71-0283

F-15A 71-0285

F-15A 72-0119 "Streak Eagle" record breaker

F-15A 71-0284. This prototype aircraft was used as a maintenance trainer.

F-15A 73-0103, 58th TFTW

F-15B 73-0111, 58th TFTW

F-15B 73-0112, 58th TFTW

The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf and instructions provide placement information. There are enough common markings and stencils for one aircraft. If you wish to do more, then you can use the kit decals.
