This item from BarracudaCast is a replacement sliding hood for the Eduard 1/48 FW-190 kits that used the'blown' sliding canopy that was installed on new build planes starting in January 1945 and frequently retrofit to older planes. It does not include the windscreen section. Apparently the Eduard hood leaves something to be desired in terms of the amount of bulge over the pilot's head and like the previous canopy reviewed, this is designed to replace the kit item. It is probable that this will fit other 1/48 FW-190 kits, but it was not designed for them.
