The Tamiya 1/48 Bf-109G-6 is a great kit that makes into a superb model. One thing that many 1/48 kits are lacking are separate horizontal tailplanes and elevators. Tamiya's kit has solid tailplanes and this new BarracudaCast set provides new tailplanes and separate elevators. This is a very simple upgrade and fits into the standard kit perfectly once the parts are removed from the sprues. The set includes complete instructions for those who are doing their first resin update set. If you have the Tamiya kit, you should seriously consider picking this one up.
