Revell's recent 1/32 Spitfire IX kit has been fairly well received, however, it can only be built as a later version. In order to enable the modeler to do the early variant, BarracudaCast has produced this set. It consists of a new lower cowling piece along with the shorter carburetor intake that was typical of these planes. The resin is superbly cast and the set comes with full instructions on how to trim the parts and install the resin pieces. Well worth picking up if you want an early Spitfire IX using the Revell kit.
