With the new Revell 1/32 Ju-88 on the market, it wouldn't be long before we'd start to see decal sheets on it. AIMS has been providing Ju-88 family related materials as the norm and so it is not surprising that they'd provide this rather comprehensive sheet. In order to provide the greatest number of options, the majority of common markings are going to come from the decal sheet. AIMS provides the appropriate codes, unit badges and kill markings, as well as swastikas.

The very well done placement guide not only gives information on all the various options, but also on precise kill markings placement and a guide for reproducing the camera ports that are on at least one of the options.

The first eight aircraft are all C-2 or C-4 night fighters, with the first seven being flown by NJG2/3 as you can see from the R4 unit code. There is a conversion set to allow this variant to be modeled, which you can get from AIMS. As you can see, most of these options have a white fuselage band, though several have the insignia and even the swastika blacked out. Each option has a history section to provide some insight to the aircraft and pilot.

Option 9, 10, and 11 are A-5 versions from KG30 in Sicily during 1941/42. All have a white spinner band and white fuselage band. These are all in standard splinter pattern of RLM 70/71/65.

The final option is from 1.(F)/121, a photo recce unit. This A-5F in shown in overall RLM 65 or perhaps RLM 76 over 65, making for an interesting and easy to paint option.

The decals themselves are superbly printed and along with the kit markings will provide all you need to do at least two of these interesting schemes.
