This is the next sheet on the 356 FG. The recommended kit is by Tamiya, but there are equally usable kits by Hasegawa, Monogram, Otaki and others that could well be used for this sheet. Each aircraft has a somewhat unique red nose and Aeromaster has provided templates for these. You can either paint the red first then use the template as a mask or cut out the template area and then paint the red. Your choice. Both options are in unpainted metal.

First up is 'Sweet and Low' as flown by Wayne Gatlin. This aircraft has a blue spinner with red rings. The canopy frame and rudder are in red. Black ID stripes on the wings and tail planes.

'DoDo' is the aircraft of Clinton Burdick, one of the five aces of the 356th. This one has a blue spinner and rudder. This aircraft carries greyed out fuselage insignia. It definitely had tail ID stripes and you have the option of adding the ones on the wings if you choose.

Common markings and insignia for one option. You can glean the additional wing insignia from another sheet or the kit decals should you decide to do both options. A high quality nose art decal is included to be placed over the appropriate white background.
