Continuing from where they left off in May, here is a superb sheet for the FW-190D-9. The recommended kit for this 1/48 sheet is the Tamiya version, but there is no reason why these wouldn't work with the Dragon kit if you have one of those in your stash. This latter kit was also reboxed by Italeri a few years back. The sheet provides full insignia for all and data markings for two.

First up is Red 1, the aircraft of Hans Dortmann. This is the third 190D-9 off the assembly line. This one is in RLM 75/83/76 with a yellow lower cowling and fin/rudder.

The same aircraft is shown as Yellow 1, this time repainted in 82/83/76 and with just a yellow rudder to go with the Black/White JG 26 fuselage band. It has been retrofitted with the later canopy.

The third option is White 11 from 13./JG 51. This aircraft is in RLM 82/83/76 with the tail section in the late war greenish shade often called RLM 84. It has an unpainted metal gun cover and gear doors in a dark color that may be RLM 83. The lower cowling is yellow.

A great sheet for the 190 fans out there.
